How can I contact the Connecticut Department of Insurance and Insurance Commissioner?

Answer:
Connecticut, whose capital city of Hartford
was once considered the Insurance Capital of The World, is a small but prosperous New England state with lots of appeal to lots of tastes.  Connecticut is considered to be one of the richest states in terms of per capita income, and it is home to one of the world's largest Casinos: Foxwoods Resort and Casino in Ledyard, Connecticut.

The Connecticut Insurance Department maintains a website here, where numerous links to helpful resources are provided for consumers and industry professionals.

The link for Consumer Services brings up a list of subjects like Consumer Alerts, Complaint Procedures/Forms, Auto Insurance Info, Worker's Comp, and much more. The link for Notices connects to a list of Public Hearing Notices and similar Public documentation.

The website links to a bio page for the current Insurance Commissioner (Thomas R. Sullivan), but finding his direct-contact information takes some looking.  I found it by linking to the Employee Directory (link available on the Contact Us page), where I looked him up by name and agency.
