What is a Good Credit Score? |
Answer:
A credit score is a number from 300-850. This
number is based on an individual's outstanding debt, payment history and general risk of default.
Each lender uses their own criteria to determine
what is a “good” or “excellent” credit score. However, a score of 620
or higher is generally considered a good credit score and a score of
720 or higher is considered excellent. Those who fall in the “good”
range can expect to be approved for credit with a standard interest
rate. Those who qualify as “excellent” can expect to be approved for
credit with the lowest interest rates available.
